Why do people who leave negative feedback never want to leave their name?
[Daryl]

A comment for Mal:

Good on you, give it to them.  How about a shop on the Gold Coast.
[Stu]

A comment for Mal:

I hope you will achieve what seems to be the impossible; I am behind anyone who can kill the killers ie Coles and Woolworths.
[Irene]

A comment for Mal:

Hi Mal All the best for the game on Wednesday. Cheers
[Pam]

A comment for Mal:

You're a true Aussie and an honest bloke, good looking too - can't say the same about Woolies. Wishing you and Garry all the best - hope you kick their arses, regards
[Cheryl and Ross Lawrie]

A comment for Mal:

Are you aware your staff shop at woolies taigum? Particularly for cigs instead of supporting the local smokeshop? Have you considered that the staff at woolies are also trying to make a living without being attacked? You can't honestly think that everyone would care so much about your cause if you weren't famous... You're using your status to gain support but your average fruit shop can't do that so are you really any better? Bet you don't post this on your website :)
[Anon]

A comment for Mal:

Hi Mal Doin a great job. I always support your Taigum store. Just a note, any chance of getting more batlow early season apples for Taigum store in the RD and Jonathon variety. I don't know whom the consignee @ Brisbane Markets is. Keep up the good work
[dathcart]

A comment for Mal:

I know woolies is up to something when I saw apples for $1.49 last week. I only buy bread and veg at your store-Tagium. Thanks for friendly staff.
[Maddy]

A comment for Mal:

Great to see you home in QLD. Open a store on the Gold Coast, we will support you. All the best and don’t let them control everything, let’s support the little guy or the big guy in Mel’s case.
[Shaneo]

A comment for Mal:

Hi Mal & Garry, Regardless of price, I have and will continue to boycott Woolworths fruit and veg as I refuse to support bullying of any kind. I wish for you both all the very best in your business.
[Kerrie]

A comment for Mal:

Coming from the fruit shop I am assuming all products comes direct from markets & I do not want fruit shops to go the same way as butchers & deli's and individual shop owners.
[Dawn]

A comment for Mal:

Hi, I shop at Taigum and always try to shop at Mals! Unfortunately if woolies fruit and veg is poor so is Mals. It's about time a smaller outlet took up the challenge and stopped trying to compete, but offered far superior products. If your price per kilo was a dollar or two more we would all pay the difference for better quality. Don't do the same as the last fruit and veg shop by trying to compete but be better.
[ Michael ]

A comment for Mal:

Woolworths and Coles are the biggest CANCERS this country’s ever seen; they're eating into every part of the market, and won't stop til they control everything. They have used every dirty trick in the book for decades and still their not pulled up by the Government, so the more damage we can do to them the better. Good onya Mal, may people start taking notice more and help in the fight of this cancer in our retail world.
[ Markoss ]

A comment for Mal:

Hi - I shop at Mals at Taigum and yes sometimes woolies are cheaper. But I will always go mals for the simple fact that I can by my weekly fruit and veg there on a thurs/fri and I will still have some good fruit/veg following wednesday. If I buy anything from woolies its half rotten 2-3 days later... I enjoy fresh fruit and veg from the tree not from the freezer.
[ G.S ]

A comment for Mal:

Woolworths isn’t competing, they’re cheating. These “only ‘til we wipe Mal out” “specials” will immediately disappear as soon as they run Mal out of the Centre. Give it right to ‘em Mal and attack them with your online shopping because there they’ll have to advertise their Mal only “specials” in all their stores – then we’ll see how tough they are
[ Anthony ]

A comment for Mal:

Typical! It’s another case of bullies trying to bulldoze smaller businesses out.
Well, I say, consumers take action and “boycott” the monopolies and support your local stores.
[ Ros ]

A comment for Mal:

KICK WOOLIES BUTT!
[ Jennifer ]

A comment for Mal:

Stick it to em mal, you have and will always have my families support - go you good thing!!!!!
[ Steve ]

A comment for Mal:

Hi Mal & Garry You are certainly up against it with Woolworths, knowing how they operate. I only hope you can sustain their pressure as I would hate to see your store close. You have great staff and very fresh produce that is always well priced. Cheers
[ Pam ]

A comment for Mal:

Hi Mal,
I met you and your son in Canberra a long time ago. You would have breakfast with him at Fishwick every Saturday I was fixing my boat and would call in for some take/away we didn't say much probably gooday but I had watched you play for Canberra /Queensland/Australia you were great and I will support you now even though I'm a blue to the bone good on ya mate.
I think people should deal with greengrocers/butchers/newsagents instead of buying these items from Woolworths they are killing small business around Australia it seems they never have enough stores they keep pushing them on us and now its hardware they won't stop till people just stop buying there, lets start a don't buy at Woolworths campaign.
[ Leigh ]

A comment for Mal:

Your quality of fruit and vege is equal or better than Woolworths and I would prefer to buy from you. I shop at Taigum Woolies, but your shop for fruit and veges.
